Short Review
This is the latest game from the Creepy Tale franchise, a puzzle and "horror" point-and-click game developed and published by Creepy Brothers. I've previously played two other titles in the series: Creepy Tale: Some Other Place, and Creepy Tale 3: Ingrid Penance. In terms of puzzles, story, and writing, not much seems to have changed. The concept remains the same, the SFX and music are still solid, and the voice acting is much the same as before. Performance is also smooth, and with voice acting that narrates everything that happens — along with every character being fully voiced — it makes the game fun to play. The only downside is... I'm not sure if I missed it or what, but there doesn't seem to be a manual save option. I had just finished a particularly long puzzle, and it turned out my progress hadn't been saved. That means I'll have to redo that puzzle next time I play. A bit of a bummer. But overall, it's a good one from the same franchise.

Hm... This one is... okay. Not something that blew me away, but it's not bad either. The acting is... decent enough. Though it feels very short, and the writing doesn't feel quite... complex enough. The premise is actually simple, but in my opinion... Hm... It lacks punch and doesn't really build up well. Within roughly an hour, you can already finish one route all the way to the ending. It's fast and very short, and you only get one chance to determine who the culprit is. There are multiple branches, though, as is typical with FMV games.
And then, hmm... Well. I'm a streamer myself, and the streamer character portrayed here isn't what I'd call a particularly "solid" portrayal of a streamer, so... That made it feel even less satisfying to me.
Oh! There is Indonesian language support, but it feels like machine translation — it doesn't come across as natural.

Short Review
Oh, this game! Definitely a Must Play in my book, even though its performance while streaming... was disappointing.
Yup, you read that right. During the stream, performance was not great. My CPU was frequently maxing out even just sitting in the menu, and tweaking settings via AMD Adrenalin didn't seem to make much of a difference. On top of that, my GPU was also regularly hitting 90 or 100%.
However, when not streaming, performance was more "okay." The CPU was more manageable, and while the GPU still frequently maxed out, if I recall correctly, it averaged around 80–90%, rarely reaching 95–98%. And that's already with Native AA, which is great. There are a few funny quirks too, like... passengers getting angry when the bus is late, but not reacting at all when it crashes, and things like that. But overall, this is a great and enjoyable one, even though... well... it's demanding in terms of performance. I'll write up a full Adli's Quick Games Review for this one later. Stay tuned!

Short Review
Hm... This game... The retro feel is there, the old-school vibe comes through well, right down to the limited options — fitting for the Roguelike genre. First, there are three character options in this game — at least at the start, there's only the Knight, Rogue, and Wizard. Each character has different abilities and different strengths. Presumably to suit different playstyles. In terms of RNG... Even though there are many floors, the layout is actually pretty much the same throughout. On the other hand, as long as you loot plenty of chests and objects, you should be able to buy decent items to boost your character's abilities. Though sometimes the prices are steep, so you'd have to grind a bit — which is still... fair enough.
That said, in my opinion, this game — true to its Roguelike genre — is very challenging, bordering on tough. Oh, one more thing worth noting... There only seem to be two controls: left click and right click. Right click is for a "strong attack," but it has a cooldown, and I didn't quite figure out when it could be used or how long the cooldown actually is. And one more thing... Your health... you have to conserve it carefully from start to finish each run. So if you die, well... you're dead. Unless you buy some items at the shop...

Now we're moving on to a restaurant management game from our neighboring country, Thailand. In my opinion, at this point in time, this game might be a bit too difficult and too hectic. So you'll be playing as a single character, the Raccoon — CMIIW. Right now, the only available option is Single Player, with three difficulty levels: Intern, Staff, and Manager. Honestly, I'm not sure whether multiplayer is planned for the future or not.
Anyway, back to the difficulty levels. Staff, sitting in the middle, would naturally be considered the standard mode in any game, right? Unfortunately... even Staff difficulty is overwhelmingly hectic. You — yes, you — as the player, will be micro-managing EVEEEEEEEEEERYTHING.
Wait, what do you mean "EVEEEEEEEEEERYTHING"?
Yeah... EVEEEEEEEEEERYTHING.
Like literally, every single thing.
And you know what? Those three difficulty levels only differ in the "number" of enemies — those pesky little troublemakers. And even then, managing everything by yourself still feels overwhelmingly hectiiiiiiiiic. So... Perhaps, wait for future updates if you'd like to try this game...

Next up, let's play some golf — but with a roguelite twist. In this game, you play the role of a QA Analyst or tester, someone tasked by the "office" with testing a golf simulation. Your goal is simple: complete the contracts given to you so you don't get fired. While trying out the various arenas and contracts, you can also purchase passive or active elements that help boost your score. And since the genre is roguelite, failing doesn't mean starting over from the very first contract. So none of your effort goes to waste... 🥲👍🏻
Overall the game is fun. Even though the floors sometimes repeat the same patterns and areas, the challenges, objectives, and available options can still vary. So it doesn't get too boring.

Ha! This one is interesting — if you're looking for a casual puzzle game that still gets the brain working, without making you want to pull your hair out over the solutions. In this game, you'll be building sandcastles according to Elfie the little elephant's requests. You'll need to figure out the correct arrangement for the castle based on Elfie's requested viewpoint — it could be from the side, from the front, or even from above later on (that's probably in the harder levels, since I've only played about 40 minutes so far). The game has plenty of levels, and it's a great pick if you're looking for a puzzle game you can enjoy in short bursts, like a snack. I might write a more detailed article for this in Adli's Quick Games Review later...

Hm... To be honest, I don't really get the fun and hype... Maybe because I was playing alone with no one else around... Uh... Yeah, you can go sledding in the ski area, ride up to the peak, launch yourself out of a cannon for fun, slide down slopes, pick up various items, and even collect items for the slides. But... it just feels lonely. There's nobody around when you're playing solo, and it feels like you're just wandering aimlessly around a ski mountain with no real direction or goal...

Hm... It's not quite there yet, in my opinion. There's a note in the bottom right corner that reads Early Access 0.1.6.26219, and it does feel like a game still very much in development. Conceptually it's fine, the objectives are decent enough — though the in-game directional cues for where you're supposed to go can sometimes be unclear — the visuals are also fine, and the SFX is solid too. But when it comes to performance... it's not great yet. The game is still heavy, FPS is unstable, and so on. So... it's somewhat forgivable given that it's still in Early Access.

Phew. Finally — after a very long time since the demo released, which I played four years ago — it's finally out. Back then, I played the demo and loved it. The concept has you playing as Claire, a delivery courier whose vehicle breaks down mid-route, forcing her to find a way to get it running again. From there, Claire's journey in the game begins to sprawl in all kinds of directions.
The visuals are solid, the combat is good, the puzzles are fun, the SFX and music are great, and the writing holds up too. The only thing that doesn't quite work for me... is the driving. Four years ago when I played the demo, I complained about the same thing. Controlling the car feels... a bit cumbersome. And in the full version, it's still the same. I don't know — maybe other people don't find this to be an issue... But overall it's still a fun game. Lives up to expectations.

It's finally out, and more stable than the playtest version. The GPU still frequently maxes out around 95–97%, but... at least it doesn't crash like it did during the playtest. That said, there are now some moments that trigger motion sickness, like when controlling the ship in the first scene...
Overall, I'd say it's... interesting. The puzzles aren't too difficult, the visuals look great, and the SFX and voice acting are solid. The main weaknesses are probably the performance, and the fact that in some sections, the puzzles feel a bit... unclear in terms of what you're supposed to do. Maybe because some of the text is too small to read comfortably. According to How Long to Beat, the total gameplay is around five to seven hours, so... I'll perhaps talk again about this game in the future...

Ayyyy! My first paid coverage request from Fiverr! Happy!
Anyway. In this game, you have to destroy enemy warships at specific grid positions. Or... for Indonesian readers around my age, you might be familiar with the pen-and-paper game where you shoot at the opponent's fleet on a grid? Well, it's the same concept here — except you have to predict and attack enemies in real time.
Adli's explanation above can be seen in the video below:
Anyway, back to the game. Even though it's still a demo, the game feels solid and enjoyable. Performance is stable, SFX is good, the controls and gameplay are simple and easy to grasp, and it would probably be even more fun with friends in multiplayer. It might get a bit repetitive if played for hours on end, but for shorter sessions of around 30 minutes, it's still a good time.

Hm... This game is actually "interesting" and... "unique." The message it conveys feels meaningful too, even if it's conveyed indirectly — through collecting and recycling various kinds of trash and scraps, bringing a community back together, and things like that. However... the performance right now isn't great. My PC, which I'd consider fairly capable, struggles to maintain a stable 60 FPS, and by the 30–40 minute mark of my gameplay session, it was even having trouble holding a stable 30 FPS. I'm not sure why the game is so demanding. The concept itself is interesting, the puzzles aren't overly hard, and the visuals are decent. So it's a bit of a shame.
One other thing that bothered me a bit is... the camera. Sometimes it pushes too far forward, or gets too close to the character's head, and sometimes the transitions are quite jarring. It can make things feel... a bit disorienting.

This game... 🤣🤣🤣🤣
My viewers went absolutely wild during the stream 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Maybe because it has that anime vibe? Maybe because some of the artwork is a bit "sensual"? Maybe because the gameplay is just fun? Who knows 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Anyway, overall it seems pretty solid. The visuals are great; the SFX, music, and voice acting are all good; the writing is solid too; and the gameplay is enjoyable, even if selecting and using the available special attacks can get a bit fiddly at times. But it's fun overall. Dying doesn't feel too punishing either, so it still has that challenge without feeling unfair. The most punishing parts are probably the boss fights — but that's to be expected when you're up against a boss.

Hm... This game... How do I put it.
I never played VideoHole: Episode I, so this was my first time entering this franchise. And I do play "weird" and "unique" games. But this one... Hm... How do I put it. It's honestly a bit... hard to follow. The genre seems to lean more toward puzzle and narrative. But like some puzzle games, the solutions or objects you're looking for aren't always immediately obvious. And unfortunately... this game also isn't very clear about what can and can't be clicked. I even got stuck at one point early in the game, and luckily I had saved my progress on my phone before continuing. Otherwise, I would've had to start all over again...

Hm... Conceptually, it's interesting — though it does take some time to wrap your head around. Simply put, the concept is rock-paper-scissors, but replaced with three character types: Warrior, Archer, and Mage. It's a neat idea, but it requires thought — so you can't really play it quickly, at least not for me — to figure out which type has the advantage over which, and so on. Even with a cheat-sheet of the basic rules displayed in the middle of the screen. But that's just the most basic layer. Each card also has specific rules written on it that can affect how the game plays out.
Sounds fun, right?
Well, kinda, but... It's heavily dependent on RNG and luck, in my opinion. Sometimes, if you don't have a good "deck," you can lose because you simply can't place the right cards in the right order. No matter what sequence you try, you end up losing to the opponent. As for other aspects of the game, the visuals are decent, though some of the text is a bit too small to read comfortably; the SFX and music are also fine. So... the RNG reliance is a bit of a letdown. Maybe it'll improve in the future?

Woo, it's finally out! About a year ago, I played the playtest, and while it felt a bit "heavy" back then, I overall enjoyed the game. The concept is great — solving puzzles by transforming into various origami shapes. Your task is to navigate through certain areas and overcome obstacles by changing your form into different origami shapes. From my gameplay, I was able to transform into a paper plane, a ball, a boat, and a shuriken. Each form has its own specific use. In terms of performance, it felt solid — no stutters or noticeable issues. The visuals are good, and the SFX and music are also nice. So overall, it's a great game. One small note about the music though: it feels a bit unbalanced. Sometimes it sounds just right, sometimes it's too quiet, and other times it randomly gets too loud for no apparent reason.

Next up is a Precision Platformer: TetherGeist. I personally love pixel, cartoony, and hand-drawn art styles, so the visuals here were already a soft-spot for me. As for the gameplay, true to the genre, you have to move between positions with precision to progress from one area to the next. Though in the town areas, you don't need to be quite as precise — so you can explore freely to your heart's content. The SFX, music, writing, and performance are all solid. That's why I think this is a fun game to play. Maybe I'll write a dedicated article for it in the future...

Another casual roguelike deckbuilder well-suited for killing time. Will it be that addictive? Well, not really.
The concept is actually pretty simple: guide the ball toward dice or certain areas, rack up numbers to defeat enemies who have specific targets, and... buy various passive elements to replace the dice faces being used, to help boost your score. And... that's pretty much it. It somehow feels basic — not quite interesting enough to call it compelling, but not bad enough to call it poor either. One run takes me around 15–20 minutes. And that feels like... it doesn't quite hook you? After one run, I just want to move on, because the dopamine hit doesn't feel as addictive as other games of the same type.

Now we're moving on to a simple but enjoyable puzzle game — perfect for filling spare time: Take 7. In this game, all you need to do is block off numbers until they add up to Seven. Each level presents a bunch of numbers, and your job is to block them off. You start from the lowest level, which is very simple so you can learn the concept, and things get progressively harder as the levels go up.
On the technical side, the visuals are good, performance is smooth, SFX is decent, and the numbers are easy to read. One thing that might be missing... Dark Mode? Some people might prefer playing with a darker screen rather than a bright white one... But overall the game is solid, so if you enjoy simple puzzle games like this, you'll probably get along with it just fine.
Oh, and one more thing I genuinely can't figure out: why does my score keep coming out as a D or a C... 🥲

The second precision platformer this week — if I'm not mistaken. This one is published by indie.io, and story-wise there isn't a whole lot going on, so it's essentially a pure precision platformer at its core. In this game, you simply control a drone to collect Nullstar Fragments. The concept is that straightforward, even if the tutorial might seem complex at first glance. On the technical side, everything runs smoothly — visuals, performance, CPU, GPU, and RAM all check out. The SFX and music are solid too. So overall, it's a pretty good game.

Got another chance to play MULLET MADJACK!
Ay!
I actually played it two years ago — video 1 and video 2 — and way back I also played the demo/playtest. So this is definitely not a first impression. Even back during the playtest I thought it was a great game. The cutscenes, UI, UX, and visuals are genuinely designed to look anime-esque and retro-esque — and they absolutely nail it; the SFX and music are great; the narrative and voice acting are solid; and performance is excellent too. So in short, all is great. Very much worth playing, as long as you're okay with fast-paced first-person combat.
Oh, I should mention the premise: your character has one goal — rescue a princess being held captive by the enemy. To save her, you have to fight your way through hordes of enemies from the lowest floor to the very top. There are plenty of difficulty options, and I personally played on Accessible, i.e. Easy. Ehe. And even though it's fast-paced, there are options to prevent motion sickness, so I stayed comfortable even through long play sessions.

Next up is an isometric Souls-like: Death Howl. This actually isn't my first time with this game — I played the demo about a year ago. Even back then the demo caught my interest, since it's not every day you come across a turn-based, isometric, souls-like game all rolled into one. So getting a key to play the full version made me even happier.
In this game, you play as a mother who has lost her child to Death — who seems to be symbolized as some kind of creature. You then venture through a forest to reclaim your child from Death's grasp. Along the way, you'll fight many evil spirits, which can be used to upgrade your passive and active skills. Sounds a bit confusing? Yeah... from what I've played so far, that's roughly the conclusion I've arrived at...
On the technical side, the visuals, SFX, music, CPU, and GPU are all solid. The UI can feel a little confusing at the start, but over time... you'll understand.

Next up is a game about finding cats, wrapped in a light narrative and some puzzle elements. In this game, you're tasked with saving a planet and its cats, along with the crew and team from our home planet. It's fun overall, though I haven't progressed further recently because I last got stuck on a puzzle where I personally had no idea where to go or what to click next.
On the technical side, the SFX and music are decent, though the music can feel a bit monotonous at times and slightly intrusive — but still acceptable. The visuals are good, though the color palette can occasionally feel a bit loud and overly bright. CPU, GPU, RAM, and overall performance are all solid though.

This time we have an RTS game that, honestly, when I played the demo, I didn't really get it. Back then, even though the cutscenes looked stunning, the player was immediately thrown into the first area — tasked with rescuing a stranded team with no way back. Confusing? Very. No mechanics were explained; you were just suddenly expected to jump in and fight.
Fortunately, in the full version, there's a proper introduction and tutorial at the start, so as a new player I didn't feel lost going in. And thanks to that onboarding, I actually came to genuinely enjoy this game — a complete 180 from my first impression. Technically it's solid across the board: great visuals, good SFX and music, solid narrative, good voice acting, and a clean UI with well-written storytelling. The cutscenes look like something out of a cartoon, and they're great. So, all is good!

Next, let's run a secondhand shop 🤣
Yaaaaa~ In this third release from Spellgarden Games, we'll be selling all kinds of used goods — electronics, clothing, kitchen tools, toys, and more. Early on, you have to get the store set up first: buy shelves, collect or purchase boxes full of various items, arrange the merchandise, then sell. That's the loop. Sounds boring? For me, someone who enjoys management games, it somehow doesn't feel dull at all. Maybe because every box has different contents, and I get to arrange things however I want — probably because I like having things organized — and I can also expand my store to make it bigger and more spacious, so the effort feels meaningful and impactful. On the technical side, everything runs smoothly: the visuals look great, the SFX and music are solid, the UI is easy to read, and CPU, GPU, and RAM all perform without a hitch.

Short Review
This game's new title is... incredibly long — like a presidential speech. It used to be much shorter, but that was probably just a placeholder. If you want to watch, you can click this link. Honestly... it's a bit sad giving this game a "Wait for Updates" verdict, because I can genuinely tell that the plans and effort put into it are solid. But they might not have had enough resources to optimize things, fix certain issues, and so on. So performance-wise, it's not quite there yet. While the demo dropped us straight into the middle of the forest, the full version starts on a ship, with some brief introductory scenes at the beginning — which is an improvement. But a few settings still aren't quite right for me, like head-bob and screenshake. Performance is also not great — CPU and GPU sometimes max out at 127% and 100% respectively, causing frequent stuttering, especially in the early portions. At least FPS can hold steady at 60, which helps reduce the nausea somewhat while playing.
The SFX, features, and L-P1N as your travel companion are all fine. Even the puzzles aren't that difficult — you do need to explore and collect various objects and clues, but it's not an unreasonable amount of effort for the puzzle genre. I may revisit this game in the future if there are updates addressing the screenshake and head-bob issues.

The last game in this edition! Kingdom's Return: Time-Eating Fruit and the Ancient Monster. What a mouthful 🤣
In this game, you play as a single character whose goal is to restore a kingdom that's fallen into chaos. To do that, you have to collect many items, complete various quests, and rebuild the kingdom — literally, like a city-builder management game.
Sounds interesting, right? Well, yes, but it's actually very grindy, and over time it starts to feel repetitive. Maybe because you're doing everything alone? That's at least the impression I got from about 42 minutes with the game. Your loop is: accept a quest, complete it to earn money, use the money and items to build shops and structures, repeat, repeat, repeat. It doesn't feel exciting — it just feels tedious. One upside: since each quest requires you to head outside, you can actually avoid or bypass enemies without having to engage them.
On the technical side, everything is actually solid. The gameplay loop is fine — even if grinding to level up and collect CP feels tedious. The visuals are good, CPU, GPU, and RAM all perform well. The writing is decent too. It just comes back to that one thing: the grind.

Phew... Done at last! That took quite a while to put together. Going forward I should probably write these up bit by bit after each stream, so it doesn't pile up and feel overwhelming. Maybe I also need to trim things down a little more so it doesn't feel like every single game gets a full writeup? 🤣 And somehow, while finishing this up, I found myself thinking about Bus Bound again and wanting to drive it around some more. I stumbled across a few TikTok videos about Bus Stop Trivia, and now I've got the itch to get back behind the wheel and cruise around the city 🤣
But yeah, that's a wrap for this week! Finally got another edition out after the last one back in April 🤣 Hope everyone reading this finds some interesting titles to add to their Steam library. Not all of them are great, but hopefully this gives a rough sense of what each game is like — even if briefly, ehe.@therafflekidofficial Bus Stop Trivia EP 12
